We believe that you are never more like Jesus than when you are serving others . We are constantly reminding followers of Jesus to “be His hands and feet where you live, work, play and shop”. It is every believer’s great privilege to be carriers of the Gospel to all parts of our city. Love Local is more than just our community oriented ministries or a slogan. It reflects our desire to be a church who have so experienced the love of God in our lives that we have a passion to share that love with the poor, oppressed, lonely and hurting people in our schools, neighborhoods, workplaces and cities

We encourage and support our community by actively participating, volunteering and providing city-wide programs such as:

THE STOREHOUSE

Revival Vision Church provides an “Emergency” Food Pantry for Union County residents. It is our way to Introduce God’s message of mercy, hope and dignity through the provision of food to those in need.

UNDER THE TREE

We are currently involved in a local community program called “Under the Tree” which provides Christmas gifts and additional assistance for families in Union County during the holidays. We are collecting and distributing over 500 pairs of socks for children ages 2-12 years old. We call it our “SOCK it To Me” program.

THE HOME

We believe that Jesus has called us to help children right here in our backyard. Therefore, we partner with the Church of God Smoky Mountain Children’s Home to care for the needs of our children. We do this by sponsoring children and by giving throughout the year for special needs.

AA

Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.  AA meets every Thursday here at the Revival Vision Church Fellowship hall.

ICARe

is a collaboration between community leaders, groups and sectors that all agree to work together toward a common goal of building a safe, healthy, and drug-free community.  Its focus is on prevention and it targets teenagers and their parents.  Special events include: Red Ribbon Day, Mock DWI Docu-Drama at High School, and a host of other activities centered on prevention.  ICARe coalition meetings take place every month on the 4th Thursday at the Revival Vision Church Fellowship hall.

STAND IN THE GAP

Is a coalition seeking the eradication of  “Drug Abuse, Alcohol Abuse and Family Violence” in our Tri-State Area through God’s help and guidance as promised in II Chronicles 7:14

OTHER COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

We believe in supporting our community and therefore allow the use of our buildings free of charge by appointment.  Revival Vision currently allows programs such as 4-H, AA, and Foster Care of Union County and a host of other groups to meet on a regular basis.

We are a Community Church!
